Comment Policy

Generally, anonymous comments will not be published. Likewise, the use of pseudonyms are not allowed. If you try to post anonymously or using a pseudonym it will be deleted.

For you to post a comment, we need your full name and your valid email address. We do not post your email address with your comment, only your name. We do not collect email addresses nor sell them to anyone.

There may be a special situation (one I can’t think of at the moment) where you are justified in posting anonymously. If that’s the case, and you really want to post your comment without using your name, email me and we can discuss it. (Yes, I will have to know who you are, even if your comment doesn’t identify you when it is posted.)

Privacy Policy

We do not collect your private information. If you wish to comment on our blog, you must comply with the Comment Policy, but we do not “store” your email address in the sense that we have a database of them that we give or sell to other people. We may store your email address if you ask us – if you wish to subscribe to our blog or receive RSS feeds, then we will maintain your email address.

We don’t ask for or collect your address or phone number and for goodness sakes’ DO NOT give us your bank account or credit card or Social Security Number.

We use non identifying and aggregate information to better design our website. For example, we may calculate that “X” number of individuals visited a certain area on our website, or that “Y” number of people from a certain geographic area visited our site (if we can figure that out), but we do not collect and would not disclose anything that could be used to identify those individuals.

Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.
